In layman's terms this app scans a business card and put all the information in the right boxes and then loads it in to Outlook, and into your phone.
You can then send an e-mail to that person with in seconds.
At a recent trade show I used Card Scan to load up the information of people who came by the booth, and then had our PDFs with pricing and information in their hands (also send from the Droid) before they had finished walking down the hall.
You can store the contacts in any of your synced e-mail accounts of the phone itself.
Yes it sometimes does not scan properly - missing word espescially when a odd ball scrip is used to print the card, but you have a chance to prof the data before it is stored, and that is a big help. The program is 85% accurate -
In a business environment where who responds 1st often wins the deal this is a tool, with it's few flaws, is a tool that you need. (hopefully my competition will all own iPHONES and not see this review.)
