best led color notifier, and more!

im confused and want to learn more about connecting to your computer for wipes, mods, etc... also the basics what apps should I have? and the one that is bugging me right now is the led notifier and how to get it to show different colors for texts, calls, missed calls, and e-mails. i used to use berry buzz on my blackberry storm until i got this awesome phone

The way I do it is in Handcent which I use for my text messages there is an option to change the icon that shows up when you receive a text and the LED color that flashes. Mine is set to blue when I get a text.

In Gmail Notifier you can change the icons that show up when receiving an email, as well as the LED color. Mine is set to red when I get an email.

This way when you have a missed call the LED will blink green like factory, but your texts, and emails will blink different colors of your choosing.
