Not only did I get to see it, I got to keep it!
Its the nexus one. I dont know if that means its a Passion.
I cannot post pictures or videos at this time.
Its charging right now. Thats all.
 
That's great. But, we really need to know if it is the Passion. Is it the same phone that your friend had said several weeks ago was coming to Verizon in January?

Diddo that. With the engadget 'trusted source' saying today that the htc incredible was verizon bound, rdalcanto raises a good question.
 
harsaphes, if you want to know what phone it is you should take at least one photo of it. You should also take a photo from the phone and upload it. We will be able to tell if it a Nexus One or passion from that.
 
But Rix, isnt the whole drop a bombshell then leave you with nothing, TOOOOTALLY in keeping with the build up already practiced with this phones impending launch hahahaha.

Yep. But this guy has friends at google. He was one of the first with a HTC Magic. I'm an excellent investigator.
 
If you have the phone can you post some more info that we dont no and can you tell us the PRICE because thats all that matters

Until harsaphes gives us a little background, I'm going to have a hard time taking this thread seriously.

Anyways seriously you should have just created an entirely new identity (email address, forum name, twitter account etc) that had nothing to do with you or anyone who is related to this phone and post away.

Do the voice command features initiate quickly ?

Any lag in typing ?

Is there pinch and zoom in ANY app ? Gallery ?

Have they increased the Caller ID picture size ?

Have they added any functionality to GMAIL ?

Are the music and video players still boring ?

Like I've said before, you can discuss the circumstances that allowed you to see/use/keep this phone.

What is your relationship to google or any of it's employees?
Was this phone given to you with proper authorization or given to you by a friend of a friend?

Your answer to these questions dictate how seriously we can take any following information you may or may not give us about the phone.

If you didn't sign an NDA they can't stop you from saying anything. Why even bother telling us you have it if you're too afraid to say anything about it?

What you shouldn't have done is email them. They're not going to do anything but lie and tell you that you're not allowed to say anything/much about the Nexus One when in reality, you can (because you didn't sign an NDA). You could have the tech world at your knees with an exclusive video review. Every half known tech site would run the story.
 
Look. There is a thing called honesty and also a thing called giving someone your word.
I was given the phone because I love technology. I was asked to not post pictures or videos of it. I am waiting to hear about what can be discussed.
Going against what the conditions were jeopardizes my future chances for getting anything else down the pipeline.
If you feel its necessary to close down this thread thats fine. When and if things change we can have a new thread.
And anyone calling BS here, months ago i posted my Mytouch photos weeks before the phone was released.
