Google wants you to generate hype for this phone, even if they didn't say so. They wouldn't have given you it otherwise. Think about it. They can't explicitly tell you to generate hype for obvious reasons. They're implicitly telling you to do so by giving you the phone without making you sign an NDA.

I am waiting to hear about what can be discussed.
Going against what the conditions were jeopardizes my future chances for getting anything else down the pipeline.

If you're thinking about it that way, you should cash in now. I really doubt you're going to get your hands on something bigger than the N1. Keep in mind that in less than 20 days everyone will have this phone, you will have no power.

I know arguing with you isn't going to change your mind, but whatever. I'm just annoyed that you announced you had the cure for cancer, then told everyone you weren't allowed to tell anyone what the cure was.
 
No pics just a quick word...it rocks...it sucks. SOMETHING!!! What did u think would happen when u say u have a device we are all waiting for. People will get pissed and call BS. You should have known this.

If you feel its necessary to close down this thread thats fine. When and if things change we can have a new thread.
And anyone calling BS here, months ago i posted my Mytouch photos weeks before the phone was released.

You do realize that there's nothing that prevents you from taking videos and snapping a couple dozen photos. You simply can't/shouldn't post them, but you should definitely do this. Don't find out later it's okay and then you're stuck waiting to get your hands on it again. That way when it's announced or you get some sort of okay to share more freely, it's as simple as cutting and pasting everything into a thread.
 
Actually if you do post specs, and do a review, technology company of all sorts will start contacting you to review their products.
 
Come on guys. He probably didn't know when he posted that he was going to see it, that he was coming home with one. Imagine if you had a friend at Google, and they said you could take a top secret phone home to play with it, but you had to follow the same rules as the employees. Would you betray your friend's trust to satisfy a bunch of phone-nerds on the net you don't even know? I'm sure he'll tell us more as soon as he can.
 
You are all ********... Who cares what he has and what it is.. You cant have it.. Get over it.. Your parents arent buying you one so deal with it.. I am happy for this guy that got a phone you know nothing about.. Hell, he doesnt even know what it is yet..
 
Being Disrespectful and Calling other members names {Even if starred} will NOT be tolerated on AndroidForums.

I Will be keeping this thread open for now however I will be watching it.

IMHO this topic wasn't a very good idea. This phone is SERIOUSLY hot at the moment. At one point this week on engadget, all of their top 4 commented stories were about the Nexus One. People are going crazy over this phone. To announce you have the phone and then not say anything about it is guaranteed to piss people off, including me.

I don't think harsaphes realizes how much that phone is worth. The top tech sites would be willing to pay a huge sum of money to get their hands on it. To have an exclusive review on the phone is worth an insane amount of money to these sites. They would be guaranteed to have millions of hits to their site. harsaphes, if you refuse to do anything with the phone you will regret it.
 
The Nexus one seems like a smaller version of the Passion, the Passion having large 4.3 inch screen an running 2.0 and not 2.1.

I disagree with your theory and calling people names being disrespectful. and am appalled you feel the need to carry it on, I left your post up their to show an example to others behaviour like that will not be tolerated on AF.

I am now issuing you with a further 3 infraction points for yet another disrespectful post. 1 more point and your posting will be revoked, possibly even a ban. Permanent or for a fixed period of days. You are already on Probation.

Too bad. To me (and I'm sure many others) it merely suggests that this so-far-almost-mythical handset might actually exist. If true then we might have a bit of a scoop here at AF. If not... well, what's lost other than time taken to post?
