Help Will the unlocked HTC Desire HD work in India?

Today I came to know..the dual-core processor allows us to browse twice as fast and play games 5 times as fast as your current device.

So, why should we pick HTC Desire HD now?. Can not wait 2 more months to get the dual core phone?.
 
guys.. i was also waiting for the DHD launch in India , but after seeing some of the videos on youtube i am quite impressed with HD7 .. Though not as developed as android , i still found WP7 to be quite impressive.. m a bit confused.. can u guys pls help me out? n also is there ne way other than flipkart through which i can confirm the price of HD7?

2 months after the release of the dual core fone.. der will be smthng better.. the market is evolving pretty fast.. its your choice when u decide to buy...

HD7 has gr8 specs.. but trust me you don't want a windows mobile... win-mo is very buggy and virus prone as far as my previous experience is concerned.. the linux based android is the best bet currently in the market... still the final decision is upto you :)

Even i was not sure about WP7 .. i was almost certain to buy the DHD .. but then i saw many videos on Youtube and found WP7 to be impressive!.. M confused!:confused:

I think in India also we should get the phones on contract like in US.
I am just confused after looking at LG Dual core Devices..lets see the announcement in Jan 2011..

Yeah HD7 (WP7) is good enough to me also. Am only not buying HD7 it just to have some freedom while customizing my phone & that is possible with Android only (and physical camera button on HD7 is very attractive to me).

btw, can Nexus S be a good alternative to DHD ? Nexus S has 1500 mAh battery (DHD - 1230 mAh), a good enough big screen of 4" with Super AMOLED screen, front facing camera for 3G video calls (DHD doesn't have), Nexus S comes pre-loaded with 16GB (more than enough for me) of space (DHD comes with 1.5GB & you would need to shell out more money for buying the extra SD card), Google's own software support & already comes with Gingerbread loaded (DHD will also get in some time).

Nexus S doesn't have FM (I can live with it as it has got 16GB - enough to store loads of songs), Nexus S doesn't have HDMI/DLNA (this one hit hard :mad:), Nexus S doesn't have SD card slot (16GB is enough), Nexus S have 5MP (DHD has got 8MP), and it doesn't shoot HD video in either 720p or 1080p (can somebody confirm this) ?

Any update?. I see on igyaan comments forum, someone mentioned that it is available in Delhi with bill and also they mentioned launch in this week. Is that true?. Any update guys?.

LG Optimus 2X - 4.3" either IPS/SAMOLED with 2 1GhZ processors, an 8MP camera that shoots 1080p video, micro HDMI port, front facing camera - What else some one can demand for ? :rolleyes:

yeah.. i was almost certain to but DHD but when i saw some videos on youtube .. i found it to be a bit smoother than froyo running DHD.. it (WP7) is not as developed as others but considering the way it is now.. i guess its gonna be a success.
 
Don't really see HTC launching the DHD for another week at least. Spoke to 1 of the dealers n he said it wud take another 5-6 days. Thinking whether to wait or to get it from abroad....
 
the DHD with free accessories on expansys is selling like hot cake, yesterday it was 100+ in stock and today all gone ...

well back to india now :) anyone else got any updates apart from igyaan blog any calls to dealers etc pls share

if you are not very particular about having android, then surely HD7 seems good option, a new OS, WM7...and most importntly its available with bill now...so u planning to grab one ?
 
need help from guys who had bought desire z from grey market ....

from where did u buy in pune ?
how much you paid ?
was the pack opened ?
how is it going on now any issues ?
did u registered it with htcsense.com are all functions working ?

any more feedback plss ... an urgent reply will help here my frnd in pune need to buy it in 1-2 day....
