Slingbox PRO-HD or SOLO?

I understand the differences, but my question is about the viewing experience...

They both have HD input, but only the PRO-HD streams in HD, so...

Is the viewing picture appreciably better on a NON-computer device (my HTC Incredible) with the PRO-HD than with the SOLO?

Does the PRO-HD provide a better viewing aspect than the solo provides.

One again, this will be used mostly for my Incredible, not on a computer

BTW, my upload speed tests at about 2 Mbps
 
With the incredible, you arent going to notice much difference. And the fact that you only have 2mb upload means you wont be able to stream full hd quality anyway. The only thing you will probably miss out on is the 16x9 aspect ratio. Im not sure if the Solo will still keep that, or if it streams in 4x3.
 
The Solo keeps the 16:9 ratio on my DroidX. Just hooked up my new Solo today :). I also have a slingbox 'Tuner' hooked up at my sis's house in IL. I can swap back and forth between the two. The Solo gives me a better picture on my Droid. I assume due to the newer tech in the Solo.
I did hear a few people having issues with not getting the 16:9 aspect with their Slingbox's on their phones but I believe you just need to have it hooked up with at least 'component' cables (not the composite RCA cables).

When I stream HD channels on my Solo, it is 16x9, when I stream Standard channels, it is 4x3.

Thanks. This reply helps me the most. Even though I have an HD receiver, I wasn't sure if the PRO-HD would really be an appreciably better picture on an Incredible, and if the SOLO is yielding 16:9, then that might be the way to go.

UH-OH, I just forget, I'll be getting the new HTC HD/Mecca/whatever 4.3 they're gonna call it next year..... Maybe I should get the pro.

OOPS, forgot. I only get about 2Mbps upsream from COX (unless I upgrade), SO HD isn't really an option until I get to 3Mps. - Dang
 
The slingbox app does work on 3g. The problem could be your 3g isnt fast enough. Download Speed Test from the market and post the results here.
