One of the first WiMax "4G" handsets?

Why would you resent wimax as a 4g technology? It is extremely similiar to the paper standard that is LTE. Do you resent LTE as well? That's like saying you resent the grand marquis but not the crown vic

Not you again...:). Idk I just see LTE as the way to go. I like wimax but it doesn't seam like it will be adopted as a 4G standard as much as LTE...I Do realize that there similar but I think lte has more of a future. Not to mention better data rates but its not like wimax can't be improved.
 
Doesnt matter about Data rates b/c the backhaul is decades away from matching it.

Its odd though... cant be made for Sprint... its GSM

Yeah kinda stinks. But how hard would it be to throw in a dual band CDMA2000 radio? Still I think it would be cool to use on sprint to test out the wimax on a handset, you could also try and roam on T-Mobile....
