Description:

* Measure Your Heart Rate

Ever wanted to know how fast your heart is beating? It's never been easier! Use your smartphone's built-in camera to get an accurate reading almost instantly. Anytime, anywhere.

* Authentic Visual Style

Beautifully designed, authentic visual interface inspired by real-life medical equipment. Watch as every beat of your heart is drawn on paper and reported on the monochrome LCD screen below.

* Interesting Facts

Enjoy dozens of interesting, insightful and fun facts about the heart while you measure your pulse. Just don’t get too excited about them, it may interfere with the results...

* Authentic Audio Design

The stride for authenticity and the attention to detail carry over to the audio department, with convincing sound effects that wouldn't sound out of place in a hospital.

Hints:
- If you are getting wrong readings (or none at all), please try adjusting the position of your finger on the camera lens. Also, please be sure to take measurements in a well-lit environment if your device does not have a torchlight.
- Do not press too hard the camera; otherwise you will stop the blood flow of your finger.
- Do not use with cold or dirty fingers.
- For a maximum result do not hold your hand upward while measuring.
- Clean your camera regularly. If the camera lenses are dirty, the heart rate measurement may not be accurate enough.

Comments and suggestions are always appreciated. Thank you.

Version 1.8 released! In the next 2 weeks we will add History and Profiles. In the mean time it will be great if you guys provide us with suggestions and opinions for improvements and new features. Thanks in advance.

What do you mean? You can't download the app?

I mean I had my barcode scanner read the QR code, went to the URL, and got a message that there was a server error. 4 times in a row.

Just tried it again, same m.o., and now it worked, and I could download the app.

So that server seems kinda flakey.

Downloaded it and tried it on my Droid X.
Can't get it to work no matter what I do.
Perhaps that camera doesn't work with this app, or light is not placed correctly, or whatever.
Tried different fingers, placed many different ways, etc. And yes, my fingers are clean, warm, and dry.

Additional info...
Downloaded another app called Instant Heart Rate and it works ok.
Not as full featured however.
Maybe there is a sensitivity problem or something.

Droid X is a bit of a tricky device, because we're using the camera and the torchlight for the measurement, but on this device they are behind a thick glass and your finger does not stick directly to them. We're working on that issue and I hope that in the next couple of updates will be fixed.

Tried it on my Epic 4G. It works but it is spotty. Hard to get your finger in the "sweet spot". It still misses beats then stops altogether until you move your finger around some more. As a previous poster said, Instant Heart Rate is a little more reliable but has less features.

Keep up the good work, looking forward to the next version.

How does this even work?!
Meh I don't care, the old method is better anyway :)

Put two fingers on your neck, count for 15 seconds how many beats you have, then multiply those beats x4 (so... 20 beats/15 seconds = 80/minute)

Version 2.5 has been released

Added support external apps to hook into Cardiograph and get the measured results.

For more information contact the support e-mail

Version 2.6 is out!

For just yourself, ok. Never use that in a medical field. Alway use a full minute, because you don't know if someone as an arrhythmia or tachycardia.
