Texting Through Wifi?

I often have no cell reception at my house except a few places,

But I have wifi and Its such a pain to hold my arm out and my phone at funny angles just to wait for a txt to send or If i think someone might have sent me one...

The only app that seems to be even close to texting through wifi was textfree by pinger but will it really get to my phone when I don't have cell reception? or will it only send me the ones sent to my pinger number when I don't have cell reception?


is there another app that can utilize wifi to send txt messages, I have unlimited texting So i really don't care about it being free, I just need to get messages when I have no reception -_-

Who is your cell provider? I know Verizon doesn't send texts through the data connection. So you might want to see how your service sends its text messages over the phone.
