Replace the default apps

Just wondering how to replace the 4default apps on the home screen with other random ones. I want to put go sms where the default messaging app is.

I have rooted my samsung galaxy s (kinky) in case that is needed.

What launcher are you using?

Usually, you should be able to do something like this:

Press and hold on a shortcut or widget, and then drag it to the trash bin (at the bottom of the screen).

Then, press and hold on the empty space to add a shortcut to the app you want.

Ahh so it doesn't work with the normal home screen, I need to get a launcher.

I didn't say that. I don't have a Samsung so I'm not sure what the "normal" launcher/home screen is and how it works.

Since you stated that your phone was rooted, I presumed you may have changed the launcher.
