if you brick your phone

I've heard (don't know if it's true), that some methods of bricking, like a failed radio flash, actually screw up the hardware it's self.

Phone carriers/manufacturers don't like people rooting their phones. If you do, it generally voids your warranty, so you'd have to pay to get it fixed. They'd also likey update it back to the unrooted version.

Agreed! Carriers prefer that we are all good little boys and girls and not try to improve the user experience that they provided us.
 
depends on why your phone is bricked!

if rooting..then you have voided your warranty.

you can call them and ask.. see what they say. But i dont think you would go far ... if you voided your warranty.

I suggest you talk to us.. and see what went wrong.
Maybe someone here can point you to a fix. Unless you brick by messing up the raido!
 
When you RMA your phone, they might as well just give you a different one. Its a lot quicker to just give you a different phone then fixing the one you currently have. When you make returns, its normally their goal is the shortest turnaround time for you, the customer.

The one you currently have will most likely be reflashed and touched up a little, and sold as a refurbished device, so its not like it goes to waste.

hi! i think i bricked my fone. it doesnt open anymore after firmware after using kies. pls help me. my fone now is useless.
