Creating QR codes that you don't have to save as contact

I just got my Fascinate, downloaded QR Droid Private and I want to make some codes that are text only. I've tried the "free text" feature but when I scan it wants to save as contact. The codes in the QR thread, when scanned, display only text...how?

Thanks! I guess there is no app so I can do it from my phone, huh?

I tested that app and it saves text only files. Text Free>Enter Txt and hit the button>Then use the Floppy Disc Icon on the righthand side. Saved it to my sd card. Scanned it with another phone and showed me the text message I wrote.
