Seems odd. Almost like an old version of the site. It says "your @google.com mail" but as far as I know google doesn't give out @google.com accounts.

Yeah, it seems the site is pretty much useless to the unprivileged like me. All videos are private and most of the links seem to require you to login or something. Oh well...more should come tomorrow.
anyone else happen to notice that if you click activate phone it would bring you to a page that said something along the lines of "could not find nexus one to activate, if you are upgrading from a current phone please take your T-Mobile sim card out and insert it in your nexus one". thats a bummer, seems as if the rumors are true about a version sporting at&t's 3g freq, chances are it wont be out for some time....google is really trying to tie the knot with t-mobile it seems
i did notice it was tmobile there. makes me think we're not going to be surprised at all tomorrow when it comes to prices, carriers or anything like that
The rumor mills are very accurate nowadays. Even companies like Apple who is well known for their secrecy has been exposed before their presentations like WWDC

Yeah, I saw that too. It just pretty much confirms what's been said all along. Most likely the rumored AT&T version will come a little later. I'm with Verizon, so my wait may be even longer. I'm holding onto hope that the rumored Passion/Incredible/Bravo comes soon.
seems stupid to sell an "unlocked" phone with such limited freq. if google were smart they would make gsm version supporting more freq as well as make a cdma version, wouldnt it make sense to cater to a larger population rather than limit the phone to t-mobile users or the few others around the world that use the same freq as t-mobile.

Were you expecting that Google exerted some sort of authority and was going to release something AT&T capable without FCC approval? It shouldn't surprise anyone that this is a T-Mobile only (3G) phone. Hope is that they actually specify tomorrow that there are plans for other carriers, otherwise this will likely only ever exist as a T-Mobile 3G device.
FYI the Nexus One supports UMTS Band 1,4, and 8 which is basically covering the whole Europe/Asia and T-Mobile and 2 other providers in American continent. It's just AT&T customer and Latin American customers who are getting shafted.
CDMA is different game and it will usually resulted in a totally different device altogether rather than putting GSM and CDMA band alongside each other

you do realize they don't have to release any information to the public about something thats submitted to the fcc, right?
but you are right, we would have seen it go through the fcc. doesn't mean it should be completely ruled out

That AT&T rumor is just a ONE LINE in boygeniusreport website whereas the
a. price
b. Number of device can be purchased
c. T-Mobile
d. Terms of Sale
e. Checkout slideshow
are all substantive rumors with screenshot and "reliable insider" reports.
It was just like that Front Camera rumors before WWDC and Apple releases 3GS which has a better rumors built around it
brg wasn't the only people to report rumors of att. but totally not the point. and your 2 examples still don't make rumors any more reliable

Again, rumors without screenshot is probably more of a white noise or wishful thinking at this moment

I get the world compatibility with 900/1220, but which two other providers in America are you referring to? As far as I know, Canadian GSM uses 850/1900. The only other carrier in the world using T-Mobile USA's 1700MHz spectrum is Wind in Canada. That would basically make the N1 useless in the Western hemisphere (for 3G) unless you're with one of the two aforementioned carriers.
