Google Earth update not on SD card?

Wasn't it possible move the previous (before today) version of Google Earth to my SD card? I may have to root now to get all these useless Verizon apps of my phone.

Google Earth is not a Verizon app - it's a Google app.

It should be still on the SD card if it was there before. It still takes up a lot of phone space though.

As far as I can tell (on my Incredible), I moved the previous version to SD. I'm assuming, when the move to SD button was lit and I pushed it and it said moving and it now is grayed out and says move to phone... that it was successfully moved to SD. Further... after today's update... the button still says "move to phone"... so I assume that all 31.8 MB of version 1.2.2 are on my SD. Would these be bad assumptions??

Your assumptions are correct. I've edited my post after checking my facts. :o
