Is there anyway to play .m4v videos on android I tried a few apps like rockplayer and acr media. But nothing, so is there any way?

m4v isnt a format, its a container. It all depends on what codec is inside that container.

Download MediaInfo on your computer. Open the file in that, switch to Text View, then copy the results here. i can then tell you whats wrong with it.

Ok then what format are ipod/ipod touch videos

Some PC video converters and players integrate Mediainfo, so you don't need to download it separately. For example, you can use Format Factory to view the video file info (just like in Mediainfo) and if needed immediately convert the video file to something that is playable in your Android.
Most playback problems come from video and audio codec used, the level of compression algorithm, video resolution or audio channels.

I still need a program to convert it to a play able format

You never asked for a way before, as you never said what codec your videos are in. If you do what I said and post the results here, I can tell you whats wrong with them and maybe you dont have to convert. Every time you convert, you lose quality, so you want to do it as little as possible.

Ok sorry I forgot I tell you in a second

Ok well if its h264 it should be fine. Obviously there is something else wrong with the video. Again, run it through MediaInfo and copy the results here. Thats the only way I can help you man...

There's your answer right there. This is an itunes video, it wont play on android because its encrypted. You can convert it to remove the drm but you will lose a lot of quality. I'm guessing you got this from a digital copy from a dvd. It wont work, you need to rip the actual movie, then convert.

I bought it off of itunes. And wat converter should i use? I also have a program called podmaxx it puts dvd to harddrive

That wont work. You need to strip the DRM off. We cant talk about it here, as its not legal. Just google it. Just be aware you will lose quality, so I would personally just recommend ripping the dvd. It will be a better resolution anyway

Podmaxx is an ok ripper but do you know of any good dvd rippers

Rip with DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink. If you use dvd shrink just make sure you have it set for no compression during the rip.

Then convert with handbrake.

BOTH programs I listed are free, as well as DVD Fab. You download the trial, which give you full access for whatever amount of time. After that, you can still use it to rip, but not convert. But you dont need it to convert, handbrake will do this much better.
