Best Buy Details

Rather than pretend to fight this off-topic wave, with trepidation, I've moved posts to a new thread:

If this phone isn't released by March 14th I will just get an iPhone for my wife and I. I will just have to wait a year for my next smartphone.

Why the hell do I have this sudden urge to punch and guy driving a VW?
Weird...

Metairie, LA Best Buy still knows nothing and have no cases or accessories out. The display model is out though. This was also the store that looked at me like I had an extra eye when I asked about the Thunderbolt on the 7th.
 
and the forum stalls because if we are just allowed BB info than we aren't going to be able to say anything because BB doesn't know anything unless we just want to talk about what our local BB stores tell us which means very little...

There are other options than the iPhone. I picked up the X because I just don't want to pay the price that will come with the Thunderbolt. The Incredible is also an awesome phone.

Nobody's getting whacked - we're just trying to organize a little bit. Plenty of threads for various points of views. ;)

We just can't have newcomers - flowing in as I type this - trying to sort out which of the several active threads are for what topic - too confusing. ;)

i think after tomorrow im just gonna stick with my DINC, and forget the TB. Cancel PreOrder. The BB and VZW thing is just aggravating. It would be one thing if we got consistent info from any source let alone mixed and finger pointing from BB and VZW back to HTC..

They are so clueless there. Elmwood Verizon store has good knowledgeable staff.

This really isn't any info and it probably isn't going to help, but I suppose it is at least something...I guess. My brother-in-law, who works at the BB in Saratoga part time (he's just a kid) is in pretty well with all of the "BB crew" as he calls it and said that everyone he has talked to has said the same thing...that no one knows anything. He said the conversations he had with the mobile guys were all the same, that they are frustrated by the lack of info they are getting and that normally it wouldn't bother them, but that they are getting so bombarded with questions by the public they wish they had something to give them. Maybe they're blowing smoke up my brother-in-law's a$$, but it seems to jive with what we're hearing.

I know I know, just wish there was actually reliable news from BB....or anyone...
 
if you go to the market online the apps been there since the 25th!! i was reading the droid 2 global came out 9 days after the app came out so were lookin good! :)
