How much to sell Nexus One?

I have a friend trying to sell two different phones.

A nexus one

and A G2

What is a good price to sell either phone?

I was going to say maybe 220 for the nexus

and 250 for G2?

He is using craigslist if that matters

Of course it depends on the area he is in (I find that poorer areas usually price their craigslist phones higher while richer areas have alot of rich kids that don't care about losing a couple dollars so they will price it lower).

But personally I would price the Nexus One at least at $300 based on my views of craigslist over the last month (I check it daily) and might even go $350 depending on if it is scratch free / has original box and accessories.

About 2 weeks ago I sold mine for $380 to try out another phone but it didn't work out so I just bought a Nexus One yesterday off Craigslist for $280 scratch free (negotiated him down from $300).

As for the G2 I'm not sure I dont keep track of that particular phone on Craigslist so I don't wanna give you misinformation on that one ;)

If I purchased a nexus one off of Craigslist and then a problem came up with it, would I still be able to send it back to Google and get a replacement?

This was before Google kind of killed the Nexus One, but there are members' posts in the Nexus forum that stated that HTC still honour the one year warranty of the Nexus One. Though I'd think a good chuck of Nexus Ones are out of the One year warranty already.
 
Lol oh no i was never going to get an atrix...i just thought it was school

I have been a die hard windows phone 7 girl since november and been using a HD7 but i ran over it and broke it by mistake :/ FML

So now i am using a G2. I will eventually go back to Windows phone 7 when newer devices launch. No point in paying 500 dollars for something i already own

I like the g2 though...it just pinches me when i close it :(
 
Around Vegas it seems to be going about 250.00'ish up to 350.00 on craiglist (of course some of those low prices looks a little shady). Guess it depends on where you live.

Alot of people just don't know how good a N1 really is (I work outside @ McCarren airport and my N1 has survived the heat/sun/rain/cold and still keeps on ticking like I just got it yesterday (using Case-mate dual hard/soft cover).

Have had it since March of last year. Slowly looking for the next best thing (My Gal uses a samsung mythic and is eying my N1 when I get a new phone) but the Atrix seems to have let me down (We all get hyped up over new tech till we get our hand on it then it either lives up to its hype of falls to dust)

I am eying the Samsung S II (I think NFC is the next big thing for phones..and of course still make phone calls..heh).. yes yes I know the Samsung is DEAD last for update..but you never know things can change (HTC is just rehashing it stuff lately).

But for now my N1 is king.
 
The nexus one was a lot thinner and much more attractive than i initially expected it to be really beautiful device and being only 3g capable it was very fast
 
I am selling mine $350 shipped payment by paypal upgraded to android 2.3,
mint/never used like new/ all unused original accessories/screen protector, everything awesome

I love the Atrix 4g (best android phone by far) but there's just one thing that keeps me from getting it: No netflix app :(

What I love about the Atrix so much is that hopefully it pushes the entire industry to adopt the amazing 1930mAh battery for future Android phones.

The next Android phone that I am going to buy needs to have these 3 things:
- TV mirroring
- Netflix app (coming once the next gen processors are here)
- HID Bluetooth keyboard capability

Currently the iPhone is the only phone out there I know of that has these 3 things so (god I feel dirty saying this...) I might have to end up getting the iPhone 5 :(

the iPhone 5 needs to be running Android for me to get it...Even though I didn't root the Nexus One or anything, I like having options available and knowing I had that freedom to do whatever I wanted with MY phone. Unless iOS becomes open source, I'm not interested.

Sorry to sound like im ragging but what freedom are you speaking of? You buy the best android phone ever built and never rooted it? How are you experiencing what the N1'S true capabilities are if you never jumped inside to see what its truly capable of?
I understand what you say in that knowing you can makes a difference for you but to never do so just kind of makes it just like any other phone, its just a stock machine that your waiting for your carrier to supply a OS for. The true beauty of what the N1 presented was a complete wide open look into what you can control firsthand with a device....but you never have. You say iphone isnt open source as a reason for not getting it? OK. Fair. It can be jailbroken though. No its not the same but its still a method of gaining more than whats initially offered. But again if the user never does than its just a stock phone.
To this day i never understood why anyone would buy a N1 and do nothing to it. Your denying technology its chance to expand. Again, not a intent to rag, just a question of why.

Simply, because my Nexus One did everything I wanted it to that the iPhone didn't (unless Jailbroken) :D I was able to customize it to what I wanted without the need of root and I simply enjoyed what the stock Android gave me. That's what I loved about Android over iOS; it is able to wet my tech appetite without me having to go out of my comfort zone. I think this is why most unroot Nexus One owners feel. It just works for them out of the box plain and simple. I had planned to keep my Nexus One for a couple of years and I knew that somewhere in the future, I'd feel the need to root the phone. So the knowledge that I can is a big comfort.

Your comfort zone is yours and id never knock you or anyone for being there, its your choice....I think you meant to say " How most unrooted nexus one owners feel" as opposed to "why most unroot nexus one owners feel". Just comes across as someone unrooting a nexus one.....Thats INSANE!!!! JK..:D:D:D
