Different alert tone for different people in text messages

Is there an app that will allow me to set different ringtone / alert tone for different people in my TEXT Messages?

I used to do it using Ringdroid (market app) - after creating your ringtone or notification you could "assign to contact".
Unfortunately, the app stopped functioning ; it became so it recorded nothing or used the whole song.
I haven't used it since but it could be the devs have fixed it.

Oh, ok, that's good to hear - from the market comments I know others had the same issues as I did but I'll give it another go.

Does setting specific ringtones for a contact also set a notification sound for texts?
