Best Buy Details

Thanks everyone. That's what I thought but I asked both employees and apparently they are just ******ed. Hopefully will be a moot point if "the announcement" comes tomorrow.
 
I guess when 2am hits its official no Jay update from after work tonight, maybe he knows something? Some Best Buy Details if you would?

After 14 Days you are locked in to Verizon, after 30 days you're locked in to the phone
 
well, hopefully all the hype of that new fruit pad next week will make them push the TB out this week, flaws or not.

I'm still hoping that extra $50 that raised the price to $299 will be for some awesome, unreleased surprise.
 
I returned my Droid X to BB on Sat. and picked up a DINC yesterday, WOW. I forgot how nice HTC's phones are:). Makes waiting for the TB that much easier. Hopefully not much longer though.
 
I saw a new t-bolt ad on TV last night, but I only caught the last 6 seconds or so before figured out what the advert was trying to sell me. At this point though, I don't get very excited. I think the 10th is the day.

Hey, does anyone in this tread have a 4.3 inch screen havin' cell phone? Does it get uncomfortable?

I had the Droid X for 8 months, LOVED it. Hard to use the DINC because it's so much smaller. You'll get used to it REAL quick. The on screen keyboard (in landscape mode) took a little getting used to. (depending on the size of your hands)

I've had a Droid X since last September. I don't see myself ever going to a smaller screen again. It's just too nice. Plus, if you're worried about size, there have been comparisons to other phones like the Fascinate (Galaxy S) that show the Thunderbolt is actually shorter but just a tad wider, and a larger bezel on the Fascinate. So really, not too big of a size difference, mainly screen difference.
 
Man, I'm allowing myself to get really excited again. I really hope this isn't another let down and if it is, it is only my fault for allowing it to happen again. All of this talk about the larger screen size, yet the familiarity of HTC will make this such a great jump from my INC. I just imagined getting that call from my local BB where I pre-ordered and them telling me to come in to get my phone. Whether it is sooner or later, this is gonna be fun. Let's all hope for good news today, guys (and gals). :)
 
I think the news at 11:00 won't be about the release date, but will be maybe about features or comparisons between the bolt and some other device.

Not to dispute anyone's information in here, but if I were the one buying a phone with the intent on returning it, I would get a store manager to tell you directly their policy. Going back on day 15 and telling Best Buy "Well so and so from an online forum said your policy is .........." probably isn't going to cut it. If you give them manager names then that makes it easier for you and those that may not understand the policy completely.

You get your discount no matter where you buy from! After you sign up goto verizons website, under business tab, discount and promotions, employee discount. If you have an work enter there and your done. If you dont have a company email you will have to bring your name badge/paystub to VZW and they can apply for you.
