Correct but it originated there and was just posted here in our pre release thread. Which is why I did not give link. In any case I am the same way. Just setting myself up for a let down, yet again.

I hear ya... but if nothing changed: in BB systems or on the websites that would be an even worse sign IMHO.
 
I am thinking best buy might have been using a dummy sku. Its possible that they might have finally gotten thunderbolts and updated it in the system with the correct one.
 
Best I could find from the Incredible sku situation was that they changed the sku at some point to indicate new packaging and the included 2 gb sd card. Not sure if that gets to the bottom of the "didn't this happen with the incredible?" situation or not.

Hmm. Honestly I am not sure. I just recall that happening at some point before official release.
 
At one point there was speculation that part of all the delays was adding the droid branding. That could explain commercials coming down, SKU number changing, and general delays...just putting it out there.
 
this happened to the incredible as well when it was about to be released. Just because it isn't in the inventory system doesn't mean that the item is discontinued or that it will never be released. They could be updating inventory or could be releasing how many phones are going to be ordered per store. Back in late January early February when the photo leaked of the TBolt from Best Buy's inventory system it disappeared for a couple of days and then it made its way back into the system. At the same time it very well could be a bad thing it could have very well been pulled because its been delayed and this delay maybe a lot longer especially if verizon announced that their first 4g phone would be released before the summer. But by reading what BMX and others are saying and that the final software release has been updated on the phone fixing the battery issue and now the issue is updating/fixing the 4g service i doubt that it would be delayed longer than the end of march, he did say many folks are working long and extra hours to get it ready on time. If it doesnt come out the 17th then i would say the 24th (yea i know like going to the next thursday isnt the first time someone has pushed a date back) but if it does launch the 24th i heard from my rep that Best Buy is going to sell it on the 21st. Now this of course is speculation and what not so dont take my word for it its just what i was told in an email

I was just thinking about this, and like someone said they would have to change the sku if the packaging changed, well if there was anything about skype on the packaging then they would have to changing it since it won't be working at launch.
