Auto-Terminate an Application after X minutes

Is there such an app for the Android that will automatically force an application closed after a specified time?

I have an app on my phone that views certain surveillance cameras.

Problem is, too many times I think I have closed the application but I didnt....so the video just keeps on streaming until either the battery runs out or I realize what's going on.

It's not too hard to run up a few Gigs of data bandwidth by mistake.

Any app that would shut it down if I leave it running accidentally?

thx

I'm pretty sure you can set auto kills with tasker.

...after x minutes have passed, or y gigs have been downloaded, or if you leave a location, or if you are within z miles of home, etc. etc.

You could also set it to monitor that/those cam(s) over only WiFi, sparing your data plan.

thx.

Is this the one called Tasker - Crafty Apps $6.41 ?

There seem to be a number of apps in the market called tasker this or that. Noob here.

But how difficult is it to do all these things for a novice? Also, I read that if the app wasn't programmed with some certain code, it wouldn't really terminate....not sure exactly what it meant

It's the crafty apps one. And it's not hard at all really, it does pretty much everything for you.

Can you direct me to where you read that?

What's with the phrase "No small, cute animals were harmed" that displays in the opening info with this app?

What about large, cute animals?
