List of apps and games

Does anyone have, know where I can get, or know if it even exists...A list of all (or most) apps and games available for Android with descriptions...hopefully in excel. Basically I've got tons of apps and I don't know what most of them do. So I'd like to have or create an excel document with the apps listed by name and a short description of each. That way if I find an app call "Coangent" (made up name), I could search for it (or refer to a printed out list) and see if it's a game or app and basically what it does...I'd rather have something like this than searching the market for each app...
 
It would probably be a full time job maintaining the list, if you could find one, given the number of new apps that come out every day.

What he said. Making a list of all the apps is an arduous task. Making a list of all of the apps and what they do would be even harder. The great thing about this community though is that there are always people willing to help, so if you are looking for an app that does a particular thing you can always look here too.

If you haven't seen it already, I made http://androidforums.com/android-games/216857-android-games-list.html which may be helpful finding some games. If you go to the Android Applications - Android Forums part of the site you can probably find apps for anything you need as well.
