Any new 4G market launches in 2011?

Been some odd, small towns popping up in Arizona, such as Globe, Yuma, Prescott, and Lake Havasu. It's great to see the progress and all, but Phoenix is Soo limited on coverage at the moment, wondering what's goin on here (Phx).
 
there is some 4G popping up in Missouri. We alraedy know about St Louis and Kansas City, but there is now unofficial 4G in Joplin, Rolla, and now the Ozark Area...Maybe even Springfield, Can't confirm that one but will try to get up there this weekend and try it out.
 
I've heard an unofficial word that it'll be in Omaha this next month. Sprint stores are claiming by May. We'll see if that really happens.
 
Question... should I be able to get 4G coverage anywhere that is covered on the Clearwire map, even if it is not listed with Sprint?

I was able to pick up a 4g signal in Indio, CA which is high lighted on the Clear map but not on Sprint. Although clear shows it is blanketed with service it was spotty at best. But I think that the map said that it wouldnt be that great. Also it doesnt hurt to try if you are in a Clear zone, turn on the Wimax radio and see for yourself, that is what I did.
 
Flagstaff, AZ appears to have just got some 4G coverage. They seem to have hit several smaller towns in AZ over the past month. Great! Now, I just wish they would hit Phoenix harder.

I have. The Clearwire map shows probably a third of Indianapolis well saturated with 4G, but it is not listed with Sprint. I've tried all over where their map shows green, but I can't get anything.

Sprints map will only list officially launched markets

I'm getting 4G on the northside around 465 and Keystone. Seems to be a pocket though, nothing east of Hazel Dell on 96th or anywhere else in Carmel.
 
I'm mad they left a big hole in 4G coverage at my apartment and the nearby mall and shops. Go outside that hole it's 4G consistently. There are other small holes around the city, but those are in places I rarely visit. I have Wi-Fi at home, but when around the mall and nearby shops, I'd love to watch YouTube at cable-like speeds and continue surfing the web while I'm on a call.
 
I really love how these small, hick towns are getting 4G before the Detroit metro area gets it. Out of the 30 biggest markets, Detroit is the ONLY one not with 4G.

I can confirm Rolla having 4G. I drive past it twice a week and get weak 4G on I-44. It probably covers the campus. I live in Rogersville (LMFAO at ever getting 4G here I barely get one bar of 3G) so I'll check Springfield and Ozark next weekend and report back.
 
I actually found at least one wimax spot today in Ocala, FL. I decided I ws going to start checking in different areas of town to see if they were rolling any of it out and right by the public library was the first place I checked and it went right on. I pulled over and ran a quick speed test and it pulled 4mb. So far I haven't been able to find it anywhere else though...

I know where I'll be hanging out doing "paperwork" from now on when I'm working. :)
 
Unless you live in a small hick city, you won't be getting 4G any time soon!! Just look at the list of cities with 4G!!
 
I was down at Wayne State University (Detroit, MI) when someone mentioned that they had working 4G. I whipped out my phone, flashed back to a Sense ROM so I could see for myself and yes, we have small pockets of 4G working around the Wayne State area!

If you check the Clear Coverage Map, they've updated it! I can imagine it's going to continue growing, so this is some great news for us Metro Detroiters that have been waiting.
 
While I was at work today I decided to check the 4G setting and bingo I had it. The signal was only fair to good (mainly just fair) but I did a Speed Test and got 6.9 Mbps. I have no 4G at home right now but it looks like they are going to start turning it on here (little by little I'm sure).
 
where is des moines, IA at?!?!!?!?! i mean they have the little town of davenport live with 4G and not des moines? i need to replace my home internet with them, has to be better then the 1.5meg DSL i'm stuck with now :(
 
I think it looks like they are just trowing up site where they can insead of waiting to lauch a whole city. My city Lincoln, NE, which is not a hick town, just popped up on the map with one tower that only reaches maybe a quarter of the city. The same in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. I've been checking Clear coverage map almost every day for about a week after I noticed one of the small towns near me got a tower. The fastest I was able to test it was 2 mb with 2 bars.
