When I put a new contact in google under their contacts, they are not appearing on my phone. I have it set to sync. I did a reboot as well. Suggestions?
What do you mean by putting "a new contact in google under their contacts"? Are you talking about adding a new contact into Gmail Contacts through a web browser?
Is the Gmail account that you're adding contacts to (presumably through a web interface) the same as the Gmail acccount that you're synchronizing with your phone?
If you select "Settings" on your phone, and then select "Acccounts & Sync":
1) Is Background data" checked?
2) Is "Auto-sync: checked?
3) Under Manage accounts", does it give the proper Gmail address and display "Sync is ON"?
4) If you select (by pressing) the Gmail account there, it takes you toa "Data & synchronization" screen. Is "Sync Contacts" checked?
5) From the "Data & synchronization" screen, if you press the "Settings" button on your phone, a "Sync now" pop up appears. If you hit it do you see the rotating synchronization icon next to "Sync Contacts"?
