What neat little things have you discovered on your T-Bolt?

I was elated to see this feature. It's not quite the same as what Gingerbread has to offer but at least it's there.
How do you accomplish this? Checked the settings in the DropBox app and in the camera, don't see how to get it to transfer them directly to DropBox.

Open gallery, long press on picture, share, then pick from the list
ALso just figured out that you can go into the DropBox app itself, settings, click NEW, choose Picture, and it opens up the Camera.
Snap a pic, it uploads it directly to DropBox and also puts it in your gallery.
Wonder if somone could make a shortcut to the Dropbox/settings/new/picture then we could add that shortcut to our homescreen to replace the camera app.

You can also get there using the little dot and arrows graphic that comes up after you snap a picture. I has a bunch of sharing options including Dropbox.

I forgot about dropbox, very nice. How did you get it on the phone? Dropbox app in the market?
Correct, it's a free download in the app market. Usually (if not always), when you see the 'share' icon on something, click on it and Dropbox will automatically be in there as an option. Works perfectly, I use it all the time

dropbox is one of the best innovations to come out of the internets, imo.
It automatically backs up files on your computer to an online server, and it does it really well. We can set it up so that multiple computers share the same documents folders. It's frickin awesome.

Before dropbox in order to send a file/pic/video to multiple computers/devices you had to attach it to an email, access email, and open. Or carry around a USB drive but devices like a phone do not have a flash drive so this doesnt work. Or take an iPad that doesnt have a flash drive or sd card slot. What do you do?
Now we have Dropbox. You d/l for free dropbox from an app store or Dropbox site. When you have a file you want to share you literally "drop" file in the "box" and bam all your devices can access that easy.
Just click on dropbox and all your other devices can see that file. You can share things much easier as well. I wish I know or had Dropbox when I was in school because it would have made life so easy.

Personal favorite is speech to text. Long press the search softkey and say the command you want it to do ie. "Text "name here": Do you want to meet up later?" it will open text app, put in the name and type the text. Then you just hit send

Not exactly the best feature, but made moving my contacts over a little easier (could've been made MUCH easier). Used my bluetooth connection to migrate my contacts over from my WinMo to my TB. I couldn't do them all at once which would've made it much easier.

I find myself playing around with the Skins a lot more than I thought I would, and I've gotten even more obsessive since discovering a ton more skins that work well with the Thunderbolt over on this thread on the XDA-developers forums. It's a Desire HD thread, but after seeing several users comment they're good on the Thunderbolt I tried a few out, and they've all worked well so far.
XDA has their own app to read their forums in the Market, and if you use that it's easy to click on any of the APK files you're interested in and download/install them. I've installed so many it has made my Skin selector a bit sluggish, but I love having so many choices! I'm using Wildflower HD right now.

Ooo, that one is nice too, especially with a nice wallpaper from Flikie behind it. Between all these skins and the Flikie wallpapers I can't stop playing with my phone's appearance.

Remote Desktop from Xtralogic will let you log into your home PC and control it but whats not apparent at first is that when you click on My Computer the ThunderBolt's SD card shows up as a mapped drive and lets you drag and drop files between your computer and the ThunderBolt. I was also able to move an excel file over to the PC, edit the file using the the remote PC and then move it back to the ThunderBolt. Pretty cool and gives you access to all other network drives on that PC. Much better than FTP ing into my home NAS drive.
Now back on topic, I like the way the Car Mount puts the Bolt in car mode allowing full landscape in Sense. When the car panel pops up, it allows you to dila recent contacts that show on screen as large icons. When the call goes through the phone stays in landscape and gives you extra options like Navigate to contact, speaker phone, Mute, add a caller and a big long hang up bar at the bottom. The only con is that the car mode if you exit can't be restarted unless you redock the bolt. It will however remain in Landscape mode if you exit car mode though.

Cannot start new topic thread for some reason. Anyway, just noticed that the TB has the same privacy issues as the DINC had with saving web page thumbnails. Is there a fix. I mean this is something new I found lol.

I posted this is another thread, but you can use the skins with other launchers -- at least Launcher Pro. I haven't tried ADW yet.
