Is there an app for this?

I have only a 2GB sd card. And i have LOTS of music a little over 1,000 i was wondering if there is an app that allows me to download my music to the app itself and not my SD card.

I believe there are apps that will allow you to stream music over the internet, but that would drain your battery a lot. The best option imo is to just buy a bigger SD card. A 4GB should cost no more than $10 and a 8GB around $14-16.

Rhapsody does this. It stream music you've rented. Also, Pandora does that, but you can't pick out specific songs to listen to. You search for a song, and it play music like it. You can pick a specific artist you want to listen to though.

What do you mean by downloading music to the app itself? That makes no sense. The app resides either on your SD card or in your phone's built-in memory (which is even smaller than your SD card).

You can put your music out on a server and then retrieve it from there with apps like the ones suggested above-- or even Dropbox (I think). But I think Cloakster is correct in saying that it would be a lot better just to buy a bigger SD card.

Yep, either buy bigger SD card (16GB cards are now very cheap) or go with streaming (many apps here like TuneIn Radio, and no worries with an unlimited data plan).
