How restore system apps from apk's?

Are you rooted?
If you are and these are system apps native to your system you would use root explorer to put them in the system app folder on the root of your phone then restart should do the trick. If you are not using an HTC phone then you more than likely can't get them installed as a system app. You may be able to find someone at XDA who has cracked them to work with non-HTC phones but it is unlikely, you would be better off just downloading apps like them from the market...beautiful widgets, weather and toggle widgets donate...facebook

Couldn't you just install them?
Nope if they're system apk's it won't let you just click and install. That's why I made the guide

System apps are usually required to be in /system/app with the correct permissions.
And yeah, most if not all the HTC apps require HTC framework to function.
