NEED HELP with Youtube uploads!!

Lets see here, I have been successfully uploading youtube videos over my 3G connection to youtube UNTIL TODAY! when the opera mobile update came over!! Now opera crashes just like the stock browser does!! I have been using the DESKTOP site to upload to youtube just like i would on a PC. I need help as i NEED to be able to upload to youtube over my phone as the internet on my phone is 4x faster than my home internet.

What happens, I will open up the browser, go to the desktop version of youtube, click upload, and then find my video, and then it would upload over my 3g just as if it was a computer, this ONLY worked on opera mobile up until today.

can somebody please help me as i NEED to be able to upload over my 3G connection as it is the fastest internet i have.

Thanks.

Are you sure the new opera is set to Desktop view? Have you tried using the Youtube app instead of the browser? Does it give you an error when you try to upload?

Yeah, I am using the desktop view. it used to work fine, now it does what the stock browser does, a few seconds after the upload starts, it crashes, it is almost like it is programed to do so. it worked fine up until the last update of opera, also when i try the YT app, it says something about "failed to retrieve account information" instantly, I have logged in and out and cleared all data several times.

I just find it never works with long videos. The 3g/wifi will just disconnect. The app seems to keep the connection alive long enough to upload.

to bad you didn't do a backup of the app before the update and you could just roll back. Curious though have you tried rebooting? maybe something is stuck in the app. I am going to pull down opera and see if I can get it to work since uploading videos over 10 meg are a pain on wifi only.
