Help unmounted internal sd card! Help!!

HI im new to this phone (samsung galaxy s GT-I9000). i love the phone been useing it for a few months no problem then my apps stoped working so i rebooted my phone and whne i went to turn it back on it just sarted looping at the samsung galaxy screen. when i go into android system recovery it says:

E:Cant mount/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
(I/0 error)
E:copy_dbdata_media:Cant mount SDCARD:

your storage not prepared yet. please use UI menu for format and reboot actions.
copy default media content failed.

ive tried flashing it and same thing i dont what else to try. please help.

I've got the same problem with my Galaxy S

I'd previously had errors while the phone was running. I'd get an error message saying that the Internal SD Card had been unexpectedly removed.

I sent the phone off to my service provider, who upgraded the phone from 2.2.1 to 2.3 (Gingerbread). They told me it would be ok now.

My phone has just crashed with the same problem you've just had.

Says...

E:failed to mount /sdcard (File exists)
E:copy_dbdata_media:Can't mount /sdcard
your storage not prepared yet. please use UI menu for format and reboot actions.
Media files copy failed.

pls can someone help.. first i sent it coz of the internal memory getting unexpectedly removed..after coming back from service the samsung galaxy screen keeps looping... and after many reboots of that the samsung flashes in blue and yet the phone fails to start, what is the exact problem.. really need help!

Hi. Has anyone been able to get the solution? Many thx to share it. as my local agent for Samsung, Goupille & Co Ltd in Mauritius is willing to get it repaired(hic) for more than 50% of the original cost price!!! double of the price on Galaxy S in Uk actually! waht a shame for Goupille Co Ltd Mauritius!!!
