I have been debaiting buying Dungeon Defenders in the android market for $4.99 but then when I finally do decide I want to I see a mess of bad reviews. But I know how some people on the Market complain about every little thing, so I am asking you guys; is it good enough to buy?

I don't think I've touched it since the day I bought it... and that was the day it was released. The controls were okay. It wasn't the most fun game ever... but I didn't play multiplayer either.

Dunno what to tell you. It's definitely high quality.

This. I bought it due to the hype that it was using the Unreal Engine. In terms of actual fun it's nothing special, it's average. There's tons of games for half the price or less that are way more fun.

Thank you all for your advice. Based on your advise I am not going to get the game and continue to save up for a new tablet...or a ipad 2(haven't decided yet.)

Today I just looked in the android market and found that this game is now free...also I found that many people are very mad since it would seem that they all but wasted $5.

They don't have any more right to be mad that a game they just bought went down by $5 after they bought it than anything else lowering price over time. Just goes to show how whiny the community is.

I suppose you are right since that seems to happen with everything. I mean, I payed $600 or so for my gTab when it first came out, but now the price lowered as things often do as they get older.

I enjoyed it, but it wasn't hard. Completed it with two characters.

Ya...pretty lame...Especially after reading the updated description. Upgrades and things within the game all require purchased now?

I haven't played it since I bought it, mainly because it doesn't run that great on the Evo; waiting to get a better phone to run it on.
