Help Launcher problems!

Ive tried Launcher Pro, ADW and now Zeam. In my opinion Zeam seems the fastest, but none of these launcher are letting me add home screens. When i try to, the launchers reset but i still have the same number of homescreens. Any help?

Try Go launcher. Its fast and you have more control how the app is.
Also you have zero problem to add more screens.
Also if you have an backup from froyo then you van use that on gingerbread without any problem.

I forgot to mention that i have been using Go Launcher. Ive got another problem. When i unlock the screen, whether it be a pin, password or no lock, it lags a little.

Hi all, long time reader-first time poster.

On a related subject, does anyone know a solution to this:

I'm using ADW Launcer EX which is great but for one thing-when I'm in an app and I press the Back button (the right hand touch button) it takes me back to the Homescreen instead of back to the App Drawer itself.

I've tried going through all the ADW settings but can't find a solution.

Perhaps it just doesn't support this option but at least I'd know either way.

PS: this forum seems much more user friendly for noobs like me whose Android knowledge is basic at best. XDA seems rather elitist to me which kinda goes against the whole 'Open Source' idea I think...

launcherPro works fine for me .. I have 5 homescreens now and my friend goes with 1 homescreen .. dunno why you having this weird problem :S

that's just how android launchers work .. drawer closes when apps are launched .. actually it's a good idea to send an email to the developer , maybe he'll add it as a feature in the next update
don't be afraid .. they are usually very friendly

Zeam is my preferred launcher, due to it's simplicity and light footprint.
Also, the function of setting gesture shortcuts is important to me.
It can be set from 1 to 7 screens (under Preferences>Workspace>Number of screens). Note that I am still using version 2.8.7.
