As per the title, I like ADW and have been playing with Regina home launcher for the last couple of day and kinda like it but now I have seen SPB shell 3D!

Ok it costs
 
10 pounds? That's expensive, I wouldn't do it personally. This must be a serious battery drain and maybe not that fast on the X10, but feel fee to try it and leave us your impressions!
 
my battery's coping very well so far... 2 days of moderate usage n still around 30% left... but spb is sick, no lag n the widgets are amazing
 
There is NOOOO wayyyy this will be as fast and smooth, as in the video, on the X10.... is there???? :confused:

:eek: :eek: Wow! How much was your battery life before? This represents about 4 times the life I get at the mo.... is this SPB this good....??? Off to google it!
 
To be fair, it runs great on my X10 with no more lag than adw or stock launcher! Not to sure on battery life yet though I unplugged at 9am and after more than 7 hours (normal use for me) I'm at 60% battery but then I have brightness at max and data on constant and have been showing it off and running all the 3d animations too.

All the 3d widgets work like a dream and I think this will be my stock launcher from now on! Its a shame that there is not many options for tweaking like adw but it would be good if they had a demo version as
 
no, my battery life has been pretty good all along (spb uses about 2 or 3% after 2 days of using it)... im not rooted, no custom rom... im using the stock 2.1...

@disambiguation- i was as surprised as u were when there was no lag! but seriously, it gives ur phone a completely new look n feel.. loving it so far... but u might wanna check with a few more x10 users before u buy it..
 
ok i dld this and installed it but when i try to use it after a short while it kicks back to adw ex itself. anyone else experience this, i would like to keep this as it looks good

oooo i quite like this. i havent paid for it but i have reasons like i dont have a credit card and the market offers me no other way so i have to steal things elsewhere but anyway..

yeah this is real slick, seems a bit laggy from side to side but i only just installed it.
 
The side to side seems to be more the app I feel.

It's like it wants you to know you have turned the wheel of pages rather than sliding to the next screen if that makes sense???

But loving it so far and the girlfriend wants it on her portal but as it has half the ram and cpu of the X10 she cant :D
 
yeah i think your right, seems to feel a bit nicer after giving it a few minutes.
certainly nice and fresh and gives the phone a new feel which in my eyes is always a good thing :D

only bad thing i found so far is when i press my home key it doesnt show, only gives my other launchers as options where it should automatically goto home after i hit use as default. must be to do with the version i have.
 
i have to uninstall and reinstall everytime i switch my phone off. guess if i wanted this i would have to buy it. :( back to launcherpro for me
 
I feel you on the money side of things and as I said it was due to watching the video and a few cans of beer that made me click buy in the market...

But it will be one year till I upgrade so this along with 2.3 should keep me almost happy till then :)

I said it once and will say it again.

It's like having a new phone with this home launcher, if you want a change it is worth the money and every iphone owner that has seen it so far loves it :D
 
ok i hve tried this working smoothly on my x10.

I haven't bought it i have a cracked one.And it is awesome...:P
