Hey Guys.. Have been on 2.3.4 for about a week... No issues so far.. but just started noticing some weird behaviour by the battery indicator... At times say its shows a level of 71% and after leaving in over night it shows 74% !!!!!!! I know. .. (I wish it charges on its own without putting it on for charge .. wishful thinking ) .. But this has happened even sometime last night when I had about 7% battery left and after about an hr it goes to 8%... Checked the battery level on 2 widgets and both of them seem to show this weird behaviour...Anybody experiencing this???:confused::confused:

I think it is a bug on 2.3.X mine does the same thing. One thing you can do, I'm not sure if it works or not, but if you are rooted is to do a battery calibration and see if that goes away.

I had this when I first reflashed, try doing this
1- charge it till it says 100%
2- use it till it's fully discharged and turns off and won't turn on again
3- let it charge while it's off , till it's fully charged

doing that fixed the issue for me

I have update to 2.3.4 yesterday. And it seems that the phone shows it is Charging via USB but if I see the Indication on Ciricle Battery it is reducing.
Dose the new version have any problems charging via USB.

the reason it does that is becuase the phone judges how much battery is left depending on how ur using the phone, for instance i wer using the video player my battery would tell me I have 16% left, but if one hour later i was just on my homescreen my battery may tell me im on 18%
