Forgive my first, beginners and very basic question. Have just received my Eee Pad TF101. If I dock the keyboard to the tablet and charge to the keyboard charging port will that also charge the tablet battery at the same time? Maybe has to be done separately? Thank you for any information.

The dock will charge the tablet first always. Basically the power goes into the dock and is used to charge and maintain the tablet battery. That way when you pull the tablet off the dock, the tablet is always charged.

And the stock battery meter shows ONLY the tablet battery level.

Search the marketplace for the "Dual Battery" app/widget. Very good and simple app for watching both batteries.
