Movie file conversion

What conversion apps do you use? I currently have AVI's that I'd like to convert to a smaller size. Whats the resolution that best works with the tab 10.1?

Going from DVDs, I use SlySoft's AnyDVD HD and SlySoft's CloneDVD Mobile. For resolution, I use the native setting of the tablet. As far as converting existing AVI files, I do not know.

Have you ever experienced playback lag? At times during a movie out freezes but audio keeps going. Its an avi file.I'm using rock player.

I use Handbrake (Mac) when needed.... but since I purchased the 32 GB model, I download files between 700mb to 1.5 GB, and have plenty of space with good to very good resolution. I don't normally keep more than 10 movies on it at a time.

No, I don't think so. I haven't watched many movies, though I did watch Anchorman paying close attention to your question and didn't notice any at all.
