Root [ROM] [R910] EXODUS 0.6 CWM or ADB script install

Whelp, after tiring days of trying to add some new stuff to my 0.5, I finally have something to produce. I wish I could add more, but again my hands are tied without a custom kernel.

Also to prevent the annoyance of file hosting, t3xan has offered to host the rom. So a big thanks out to T3xan!

To top it off T3xan is pitching in with his graphic skills! So the new 0.5 will have a custom background made for the rom! Also to top it off I've added a new browser that has alot of enhanced features, such as "desktop" mode. I've also updated the package filtering so you should be able to download anything from anywhere without a problem of metro telling you "YOU CANNOT DO THAT!". Other than that I removed a lot of non working app. Such as terminal, and wifi tether. I'm still pissed I cannot include wifi tether, but the app simply hates being installed with the rom.

Hopefully in the future I'll figure out how to get it working, a build it tether is a must have! So hopefully by tomorrow the 0.5 should be up and hosted. Again thanks for all your feedback guys, and I'm hard at work trying to make a custom Framework. Meaning, a custom look to my rom! If you guys have any suggestions please post it, or hit me up in IRC.

Again thanks to T3xan for his awesome graphic skills! So if you like what you see, look foward to a new look for the rom next release!

Once I applied the settings it stayed with mine. Be really careful with the Overclocking though I blame this (The overclocking) for bricking my phone the night before last.

Of course it was an easy fix just did Odin and reapplied the Exodus Mod. Restored my backed up apps and viola was up in 20 minutes again.
 
Whats the best settings for the indulge? Galaxy tuner wise I mean, I want a nice loud sound without distortion. Also is .05 out yet?

Silvist is still working on .5 shouldnt be long though. With galaxy tuner just play with the sound settings its more of a user preference thing than anything.
 
Im going to wait for Silvist to post the link Im running it now and have to say the battery life has been great so far. Should be some time this evening though. People in irc will be the first to get the link though Testers ;)

Ok its released and Silvist did get the framework working. As usual a good factory restore after running the .bat will give you the best results.

can someone confirm this for me.

Silvist sent me the APK file for the @metro store. he told me not to install the fille, but to just drag it to the system/app folder. How do I do this? I went into Adao file Manager but I have no permission to move/copy/paste anything into the system/app folder. It pops up a message that says "insufficient permission". How can I put the app store in the system/app folder, Thanx guys.
 
First I want say that im not asking for this im only giving a suggestion lol!! I think a step-by-step video on how to install this ROM and another video on how to Factory Restore would be an unbelievable help to so many users here and may even limit the amount of repeated questions. I only say this because I know that some ppl need to see the process in order to learn it (Visual Learners), I would make the videos myself if I knew how to do these things but unfortunately I don
 
The roms real nice. I havent noticed all that much of a change in battery life honestly, But its real smooth. Nice work, Also I tried changing my boot animation with this app i downloaded. Will it work?

From what I have read I doubt the custom boot animation will work. Give it a try though you can always go back with Odin and then re-run Exodus. If it hoses ya.
 
In regards to insurgency, ya probably need root explorer to move the file like that. Ya have to enable r/w permission, and I don't know of another file explorer that allows it. If ya have trouble finding it hit me up on irc.

As for making a video, I guess that could be done. Tbh I'm busy enough trying to make a custom framework, so I don't know if ill be able to post a video. In all honesty though if ya don't know how to put your phone back to factory with Odin, I wouldn't mess with the rom.

I knew that u wouldn't have the time to do a video being that ur busting ur %"# on everything else and im sure everyone appreciates it very much and hopefully shows it somehow. As far as not messing with stuff lol!! We all knw that ppl are going to try it even if they dont have a clue on what they are doing, as seen with the Rooting Process. Im sure its only because they spent $300+ for a phone that sux!! and then they hear and read about how great things are going after applying your ROM and all other customizations, unfortunately though like we have seen with the Rooting, ppl will make mistakes and then have to ask for help. And everyone here will go out of there way to help even though they are frustrated because someone who didnt knw what they were doing screwed up. Its not a bad thing though, its actually pretty damn cool of everyone and is the reason why alot of ppl come here, because of all the ppl and how helpful they are. So by making a video it should allow for more time to be spent on other important stuff other then helping minor mistakes. So hopefully someone (Other then You :D ) will take on the task.
