30 Days almost up

My 30 days with Evo3D is almost up ( I upgraded from Evo I purchased last July)

If I decide to return will my 2 yr contract be voided and what would my termination fee be?

Not sure IF I want to stay with Sprint.

Termination fee is $200 - $5 every month of service since the contract began.

Curious, what is it about the EVO3 you're not satisfied with? Or is it the service (or lack of in your area) itself?
 
Service has been less than expected. My family is also on Verizon.
Thinking of maybe getting iPhone 4.

your evo had a 2 yr contract on it.....

upgrading to the e3d started a new 2 yr contract...
returning it will get your a $35 restocking fee
and it would put you back on the evo 2 yr contract...

so you will still have 1 more year left on the contract...
there will be an EFT. it will be prorated...

Nope, mine runs like a dream. The internet speed should be better than the original EVO. You need to take your phone back to Sprint and ask them to do a data refresh on your phone. Or if you can convince them to give you the MSL over the phone you could do it yourself. ##3282# > Edit Mode > Enter the MSL. This will restore the data tables and should improve your data reception.

If you're considering switching to the Iphone4 expect slower data as the Iphone4 is not even 4G. If you don't have 4G in your area, Verizon 3G is considerably slower than Sprint 3G.

Sprint's 3G faster than Verizon's? First time I have read of that.

I've heard of a lot of these having phone RF issues, this could be the reason for slower internet. but yes do try a data profile refresh, PRL upgrade, and have them test the radio's RF. I'm also curious I have an Evo 4G and am thinking about getting the 3D, Is it worth it?

Any plans for 4G to come to your area in the near future?

I like my EVO 3D..it's my fun personal phone. But I'm fortunate to be located in the center of a strong 4G area. Phone service is great too.

My biz phones are with Verizon. We get an excellent deal with them. Blazing fast 4G...no doubt about that. I'm also in a strong 4G area with Verizon. But their 3G sucks....very, very slow. I'm grandfathered in with unlimited plan...how long they keep us grandfathered in remains to be seen. I will definitely be going over the cap if they take it away from us.

So, if you do go on with Verizon you'll be capped. Keep that in mind. And, if you're not in a 4G area with them, the 3G will likely be slower than Sprint's 3G...
 
If you decide to cancel within the first 30 days of service you owe nothing. No termination fee, no contract fees(unless you purchased something like music, ringtones, etc...)

EDIT: read the beginning wrong. Depending on where you were in your EVO contract will determine the termination fee, if you cancel within 30 days of purchasing the 3D.
