Shall I update my Samsung Galaxy Ace?

Hi! I have just bought a new ace(T-mobile) and maybe I'd like to update it via KIES. (PDA:KPK / PHONE:KP6 / CSC: KP1). What is your advice, shall I update it, or I should stay on Froyo? Please write positives and negatives!

I have updated to gingerbread update (3network) and all is well so far. apart from some games no longer working.

I check so many threads and I could read that when the phone is locked and you press the unlock key it needs 1,5 sec to react. Is this true? For me it'd be annoying :/

With the 3 network version I dont suffer from that ..its instant for me
