Easy to Reach Car Mount

I've been thinking about buying a car mount so it's easier to use my phones GPS and skip songs when listening to music but the problem is that I'm a short guy and I drive an SUV. So the car mount I'm looking for needs to have some sort of system in which I don't need to stretch or shift myself to reach my phone. Does such one exist or did I just come up with a genius idea :p

Check out this video. I have this car mount and love it. It's not the prettiest, but it work really well. One thing that was not mentioned in the video is that the suction cup piece extends as well.

I drive a Jeep Wrangler, which doesn't have a lot of extra space to be mounting stuff or even to place my phone in a place where I can see it while using GPS. I was able to find a phone holder that mounts straight in to the lighter socket, and puts the phone just below and to the right of the steering wheel. It works really well for me, though it can be a little wobbly if you tend to drive on rough roads.

have anyone seen a mount that plugs into the cigarette lighter with a flexible neck and charges your phone. Don't be fold by the first one you find look close they don't charge your phone it seems apple gets all the cool stuff.

That is a shame CableDawg. I think too many developers are afraid of making something that wont work for all phones. Just focus on a couple manufacturers I say and work your way up!

This system rocks. Find the ProClip that fits in your car, the holder for your phone and your good to go. There is a passive and active version (one with and one without charger). And it has cooling in the summer :P since its in front of your vent :P. So you wont overheat your phone.

I just used the Brodit 511258 (passive holder for SGS2, can accommodate many cases) for a 600-mile trip. It worked brilliantly, as has every Brodit clip I've used in the past.
