I think you should make a 4x3 and a 4x4 like the sense one.

It there a 4x3 on Sense ? I don't think.
As you may see in my TODO list a 4x4 is scheduled.
But I'd like to avoid copy of HTC Sense design.

Nice job. It is working perfectly for me. Album art shows up too.
Actually, the album art showed up once and now won't show up again. I still like it anyway though.

Your phone is in 'low memory' state. Widgets can't work cleanly in that state.
Please, free some memory to test it.

How much memory is needed for it to run better?

it depends of device... Android kill services when there not enough memory to run foreground application.
