[Sprint] Exchanges

If you ordered a phone from sprint's website(nexus s 4g) but wanted to exchange it...do they make you send the phone back first or do they ship you the phone so you don't have to be without one and give you a certain time limit to return the other phone?
 
I'm not sure about that. Never had to ship a phone back. Have you thought about going to a corporate store? You can exchange it there.
 
I was considering just oredering online(Usually you get discounts for phones online) but I remember i ran into an issue with VZ saying that i could not return a device that I ordered online from THEIR WEBSITE which i found stupid. It wasn't like I brought a verizon phone from best buy and tried to exchange it at a corporate store.

I ask because I was going to probably try and get a Nexus S but based on what i've heard about signals, if I had the problem i'd probably switch and get it an evo 3d or an echo.

Do you have an online account? If so then just do a Sprint Chat. They should be able to point you in the right direction on this. Although I'm almost certain that you have to ship the phone back first. As far as exchanging a phone purchased online at a corporate store. You can do it. I purchased a galaxy tab on Sprint's website about two months ago and returned it 3 weeks later at a corporate store, just because it sucked, with no questions asked. All you need is the packaging and paper work that came with it.
 
Just read on xda that sprint ships you a new phone and you have 10 days to ship the old one back

I can confirm this.. i have done it.

if you dont send the old phone back within the timeframe... they will charge you the full price of the NEW (out of contract $500 - $800) Phone.
