Since upgrading to 2.3 we now have these funny little arrow things; a great idea I thought. In principle they are, but I only seem to be able to highlight a couple of lines at a time. When I try and drag the right arrow through all of the text I want to highlight, it's not having any of it.

Anyone else having the same problem?

I am confused.

Where are these funny arrows? In Messages? In the Browser?

I am able to highlight fine using Skyfire as a browser. And also able to select all. Long hold....chose Highlight option and select the text you want. It auto copies....then paste where ever or in whatever app you want.

these arrow appear anywhere you type text....looks like brakets, they are blue and they visually show the text that you selected...

had some troubles but was mostly because of my big fingers... other than that i only long click and select all

As Merolas said, they're little blue arrows that you should be able to drag to select text. I can only ever drag them across a couple of lines as opposed to the whole text.

Oh well, I try one of the work arounds. :)

Can we get rid of the blue arrows? sometimes they get in the way when i need to select the correct word when using Swype.
