Help Grandfathering my existing plan with pre-order

ckim06

Newbie
If I get this phone through letstalk.com, is it possible to keep my existing plan? Its 500 minutes with unlimited data and text for $60.

If not, can I just skip on the pre-order savings and get it at the sprint store on the 16th to keep my plan?

Sprint does not budge on this. If you have a smartphone you MUST be on the 450 plan minimum for $69.99 + $10 premium data plan. No ifs ands or butts.

If you are a long time sprint member who has paid your bill on time for months, you may be able to get sprint to compensate you in some other way, you just gotta ask. Don't forget there are things like 10% off bill for AAA membership or credit union membership that require a new 2 year contract that you can roll into your new phone contract. Also, if you ask for it, sprint recently offered an extra 300 minutes for absolutely free on the 450minute plan, I just had to call in to ask for it.

I just live chatted with their customer service, and they said I could keep the plan with any new phone. They've been wrong before on live chat though...

LxMxFxD is correct on this. You should be talking to Sprint if you want confirmation, not the store selling the phone. Sprint is the one who has made this very firm rule. You must upgrade your plan if you intend to get a new phone.

It was with Sprint, here's the transcript,

Hmm. You might want to ask about the price of the plan; not if you can keep the plan. You are worried about the cost, right?

And I have NEVER seen the $10 premium data charge waived. You had better ask the right questions if you want to make sure you can use this conversation to prove your point when Sprint raises your rate.

This doesn't matter to me: Just my suggestion if you want to go up against Sprint when they raise your rate.

Im thinking about ditching for VZW for Sprint so I can get my hands on the GS2. Does Sprint offer unlimited data to new users or is it capped like ATT and VZW?

Is the Everything Plus Plan one of the employee discount plans isn't it? If so, it shouldn't be a problem, I could be wrong though.

That is a eprp plan. 3rd party can't touch it
