You should do a zombie rom! :) red, black, and grey splatter layout. I would love to help you punkmaxx... custom status bar backrounds! Yea it would be sweet! But i think we should do something blue or orange now that we have a green and red roms.

Nice rom, just one question? I cant seem to change the bootanimation, ive tried going to hidden/data/power on animation. And also to system/media but neither works, i even removed the bootanimation found under power on animation but it still boots up to the one that came with the rom. I even renamed mine to bootanimation.zip

Wait the bootanimation i took off was the stock one, so where is yours blocated, the nexus one, or is it a splash screen??? Cuz all i get is the moto logo then the nexus bootanimation (or splash screen whatever it is) then the phone comes up.

bootanimantion.zip is located in /data/local/
 
I had a few questions because it is my first time downloading a ROM on an android phone.

I installed Clockwork Mod Recovery.
I installed Deodex.
I moved Ginger.zip into my SD card.
I installed from zip in recovery mode.
It installed in about 15 seconds which I think was pretty quick compared to deodex.
I am rebooting but it has been stuck on the red Motorola symbol for a while now and im not sure if this is normal.
Is the first boot going to take longer? Or every single reboot I do will take this long? Or did I do a bad flash.

I think something might have gone wrong with your SD card or Ginger.zip. I did those exact same steps tonight and mine took a bit longer than 15 secs (more like a min or two).

One thing i did note with mine: for some reason the boot up silence did not work (still hearing the annoying virgin mobile startup sound with the nexus animation)
 
i agree try redownloading the ginger.zip and flash again. cause it should have taken over a minute to write all of the files
 
Okay maybe I deodexed it wrong, am I supposed to have a black notification bar after deodexing?
Because I re-flashed it and it still isn't going past the Motorola symbol.

Wow, this is getting really frustrating :(
I started from the beginning and even flashed over PrincelyROM.
And still all im getting is a Motorola symbol.
PrincelyROM worked perfect for me, but I still want to know why this one doesn't work on my phone.
If anyone could give me REALLY detailed instructions on how they got this to work on their triumph I would love you forever.

Mine was just bootlooping when i first tried, so i restored my princely rom i had backuped, then i cleared dalvik cache and format system, after that I installed this rom and worked, and since i didn't wipe data/factory reset all my apps were still there.
 
Does anyone know why my market keeps updating to tge new one??? I dont like it, I have to keep installing the old market.but it only happens after a reboot. I froze the market updater using titanium backup but it still updates after reboot, didnt use to happen on stock or cm7

I installed this the other day from a stock triumph:
rooted with gingerbreak
installed cwm (issac's version from cm7 thread)
booted to cwm, made backup
installed deodex zip
rebooted to confirm deodex working
booted to cwm, installed ginger zip
rebooted

Can I have really really really detailed instructions, such as how you ginger.zip exactly (e.g wiped dalvik cache, mounted system, etc.)

I didn't do any wiping (since the latest versions of those zips do it for you in the script). Maybe some conflict happened when flashing over princely rom? As I said, I was coming from a deodex install over a stock rom. Might want to try clearing dalvik cache and format system as elflip88 stated.
