Extra Batteries Question

I want to order some extra batteries to carry around on long days away from a charger. I found some on Ebay made by "Ace Soft". Anybody have experience with this brand to confirm the batteries will be good?

Thanks

I haven't heard of that particular brand. Since I am getting extraordinary battery life, I decided to wait a few more weeks and see if the prices come down.

However, I ordered batteries by the case for the GF's and my Evo 4G (slight exaggeration) so I became quite an expert at battery purchase experiences. The main key is to use someone with a history of positive feedback. It doesn't matter if they are selling "Duracell" if the feedback rating is poor.

My purchase experience from my old HTC Touch days has slowly improved. Back then, you could find tons of "HTC" branded batteries that lasted four hours. Now, the Chinese battery manufacturers have reached a point where the non-branded batteries come close to the OEMs.

If the eBay seller has a good sales history, you most likely will get an acceptable replacement. Let us know how it goes!

In case anybody wanted to know, I did buy the battery. It seems to work fine, getting about the same battery life as my original battery. The only issue was that the first time I tried to put the battery in it would not fit. It turned out that the little notches on the two corners of the battery were not formed quite right. A pocket knife fixed it easily. Despite that issue, happy with the purchase. Saved money over buying a Samsung branded battery!

Those batteries from eBay that come with a charger are pretty decent. Nothing like the OEM's.
