Employee Plan delay?

nope not what i meant. Sprint would be dumb for doing that. the epic is the best android phone in america right now.

Decided to return the phone and wait for it to come out for employees so I can get a better monthly deal. Now middle of Oct??

thats the word..... he said the sooner the iphone is released on sprint the sooner the epic will be available to employees..... which seems about right. Hopefully apple tells sprint the new iphone will be on sprints network tomorrow. are you saying you returned the epic? what did you think of it?

For me that phone is the sh*t! Very fast. Installing apps on my captivate would be Install...1..2..3...15....done. On this phone....Install....done! So quick from everything from startup to installing to GPS lock... Awesome and sucks going back to the Captivate but it was the right decision for me to wait. Didnt cost me a dime to return the phone and port back to ATT. ATT actually gives you $60 days to port back with no fees at all.

thats good to hear.... if this was any other phone i think i would have done ahead and got the nexus so i could still have my yearly upgrade one more time but from what i'm hearing people are saying this is one of the best phones they have ever held. my sprint guy is going to inform me when he hears it is available and i'll def let ya know. i'm coming from a blackberry so i just hope the touch screen texting isn't hard to get use to... :/

I use Swype for the keyboard and its very easy after a few days....

Did you call them? if so when? becuase the last time i talked to them they still didnt know when it was going to be. watch the 17th come and then it gets pushed back to sometime mid november..... i'm starting to get a little pissed. i'm sure you feel the same way too.

The Evo was pushed back 6 months...be thankful this wont happen!

Yes called and spoke to Alex twice in the last 5 days at the Sprint Store on the Sprint Campus. He usually answers. I really dont care. I'll have it again soon. Not in any rush.

Well i've been waiting for this phone for like 5 months so i'm getting a little impatiant..... i hope its sometime this month at least.....

Wow dude....just trying to help out. When I call my local store which happens to be at the Corp HQ and someone gives me a potential date that is what I relay to the forum. I've now heard the 27th. From now on I wont post any date until I have it in my hand. I have many friends who work at the Corp HQ Campus and will let me know the morning it is available.

Relax....if you dont have it by now whats the hurry....We'll get it soon!

I just wanted to know who kept putting these dates out... its just stupid we have had like 4 potential dates and yet nothing.... i dont understand why they don't put a date a out and stick with it......

A sprint rep i've been emailing with told me that the date is the 24th...... idk why we are getting all of these different dates.....

I don't know what is up with the different dates either. However, you may feel better knowing that I just got an email from my Sprint Rep saying that unofficially the date is currently 10/24. Let's hope this becomes official and doesn't change again!

Well, the Sammy GS2 shipped today [10/20/2011] via UPS from Texas, per Sprint Rewards Plus..

However, the Nexus S has been held back, with the following message:

DUE TO INVENTORY CONSTRAINTS, THIS DEVICE WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL MID NOVEMBER.

I'm not sure how your plan is different from mine..... do you go through a sprint employee for your plan?

Bummer dude. My contact at the campus store says the 24th is the date. My contact that works for Sprint in marketing says the 23rd. I guess your out of luck then for a while.
