Help Won't update Youtube app on Android Market

Hi

Hope someone can help. I've had a notification that there is an update for Youtube on my Samsung Galaxy Ace. So have clicked on the notification which has taken me into Android market, goes to the Youtube app and I've clicked 'update'. At this point I get a 'Loading...' screen and it just sits on that screen forever. I've tried 30+ minutes before giving up.

Phone itself works fine. It was doing the same thing to the Facebook app update this morning but having tried to find an answer by Googling the problem I tried a suggestion which was to clear the Market cache. Done this and successfully updated Facebook but still no joy with Youtube.

Any ideas?

I've had the phone for 2 days so apologies if the answer should be obvious.

Youtube app version currently installed is 2.1.6
Android version 2.3.3

dont update youtube!!! seriously dude check the reviews onthe market everyone says youtube doesnt work after the update screen freez's and what'more ive stopped auto update and im staying with version of youtube i have you should to mate.
