Help Navigation Issue

Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 YP-G70 16GB - Navigation issues
I own the captioned Galaxy model.

I have an issue with the in built Navigation functionality. I get the 'Waiting for location' initially, followed by 'Searching for GPS' for a short while, followed by 'Getting driving directions' which stays on forever. However, as I drive, I can see my movement on Galaxy map clearly.

How can I correct this issue? Your help is highly appreciated​

It looks like your data connection is not working. Do you have a data connection enabled on your SIM ?
