Small hands and razr

A question for those of u with smaller hands.

How do find the width if the phone? And if it was to wide in the beginning, are you adjusting to it?

My wife of 5ft 2 and coming off a Eris is looking for a new phone and only complaint is the width.

Thanks.

Take her to the store, put it in her hands and let her decide.

She did try it in the store and her initial thought was it was too wide.

My question is, for those with small hands, are you adjusting and not being bothered by the width Amy more?

To the OP...

Its too big most likely....not the screen size, because it's only 4.3

But because of the width. Its the widest phone I've ever used to be honest.

I'd have her check out the Rezound tomorrow. The size is good, the display is amazing, the camera is real good, and she'll feel at home with the it coming from the Eris!

I'm 5'4", with pretty small hands. I was on a trip in October and my Droid quit working, so I went to the Verizon store and bought a Bionic. I liked that phone a lot, and didn't feel the width as a problem. But I got sucked into the Razr fever going on, so I returned the Bionic and got the Razr. Now that I've already spent $35 to return the Bionic, I'm not planning to return it and get another Bionic, but I've thought about it (I'm not sure they would do it anyway- aren't you only allowed one return?). I do feel the Razr's width, and it's pretty much a two hand phone for me. I'm getting used to that, since I'm not a real heavy user, but there is definately a big difference between the one hand usability of the Razr and the Bionic for me. So I'd have your wife look at the Bionic, and maybe the Rezound as the previous poster said.

Another thought- to me the Bionic had much better colors. I wasn't bothered by the pixillation of the screen, but the whites on the Razr are very noticible.

The bionic had the worst pixillation I've seen since 1988 when Nintendo came out.

Both the Bionic and Razr have a lot of grain effect from pentile, but the Bionic display is brighter and appears to have more natural color. The Razr colors are oversaturated and this makes the grain effect stand out even more. The dim display and off-whites do not help.

Any current display can look okay on its own, but when comparing the display to others is when you notice. BTW, this needs to be when looking at the devices in person and NOT on a monitor through the internet. If I have to explain why, it is a lost cause in the first place.

added:

Simple analogy though is when people call QVC and state how great a TV picture looks that QVC is showing- when watching with their own TV. Jeesh.
