List of Mods/Guides

I was wondering if it is possible for a list of anyone with mod/guide level access to be listed at the bottom of a sub-forum when they are there? That way, you could shoot over a PM to someone who is specifically on that sub-forum you are.

I'm not sure how the Mod/Guide structure works, but if they are 'assigned' to a specific sub-forum, then those could be the users listed in this 'list'.

Sometimes I feel like a PM to a mod/guide would suffice, but I'd hate to get someone unfamiliar with that area of the forum (IE: wanting someone to move a thread to a more proper sub-forum, I don't think a 'Report' is right, but I don't see any guides that frequent that forum on at that specific time...).

Anyway... maybe something to roll around in the ol' thinker.

'Report' is how I ask mods to move/change/clean the thread .It's the fastest method since all mods can see it and mods on computer can access it fast IMO . sometime mods are online but busy so sending pms may take some time .

Ofcourse the easiest method is bugging Yeahha in the lies thread ;).

V bulletin has an 'assigned moderators' box as a feature, but it doesn't really work with the way the guides/mods are organised. It all comes down to how the two usergroups were made. Long story short, moderators don't show up on that list and guides show up on almost every section.

Honestly though, reports are not specifically for troublesome posts. If something needs editing/renaming/merging/etc, that's fine too - we already get lots of those every day. The private chat section is also a good option, since you can get a discussion going (like a PM), but every guide/mod can see it.

All of the above suggestions and also, just go to our main page - http://androidforums.com

At the bottom, you'll see those of us online at the time in red or green in the list of online names. :) ;)

And we love reports - it's never the wrong time or the wrong subject to report an action that needs taking. If some admin action is needed, we tend to check with the local mod or guide most active there anyway. :)

Alright thanks. I guess I just assumed that report was for when someone was in need of some discipline. I guess that's why they say that thing about assuming.. Also, nice skyrim avatar!

Thanks. Makes sense too. Yeah, should have looked at the main page, I *knew* I saw the list of users somewhere... :)
